Swoon Group Show

I will have a few paintings in the "Swoon" group show at the Black Maria Gallery down in Los Angeles. Opening night is June 13th. I'll post my contributions to the exhibit on this blog next week! I was so happy to see "If You Listen Very Carefully You Can Hear The Quiet Sound Of a Better World" used to promote the show on their postcard!

Alberta Art Hop

I will be at the Alberta Art Hop on Saturday, May 16 from 11am to 6pm. Art on Alberta will hold its 10th Annual Art Hop with the theme, “Coming Home.” 17 blocks of NE Alberta Street will be closed to car traffic to accommodate over 150 artists, craftspeople, music, dance and theater performances, interactive art events along with food and other vendors. The weather is going to be perfect. Please come out to support the local Portland art scene!

Wish You Were Here opening tonight

"Wish You Were Here", a group show at Tender Loving Empire in Portland opens tonight for First Thursday! It features the mail-able, postal-themed art of over a dozen artists. Here are the two pieces I contributed to the show. "What Remains of these Fallen Days" (above) sold, but "Unwilling to Shine" (below) is still available for $70.00. Beyond the Page opening tonight

Beyond the Page opens tonight in San Francisco! Here is another one of the pieces that I contributed to the show. It is entitled "One Sees Clearly Only With The Heart" and it is taken from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's wonderful story, "The Little Prince".
